Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Deer That Jumps Downhill, or 'Deer', usually acts shy. She helps protect and care for the hatchlings and eggs and doesn't like to be alone. She runs away from things that scare her too much and relies on her stronger tribe-mates to protect her. Deer enjoys helping others in her tribe and is always polite and understanding. Overall, she is a vegetarian and likes collecting herbs.
