Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Only the bravest dare to live on the cliffs overlooking Lake Kes, for the monsterous Kessi is said to dwell in the lake's depths. Most dismiss this as the small town's desperate attempt to become famous, saying that Kessi is just a myth. But there are those who swear to have seen her grotesque head jutting above the waves, a malevolent look in her bright eyes. They have seen the truth, though not all of it. Aqueouia is no monster, just a Two-finned Bluna with a good heart and a desire to set things right. But her friendly demeanor comes on too strong for most, leading most to regard her as a monster. She desperately wishes they could see her for who she really is, and has started to bring people to shore when swept out by Lake Kes's powerful waves, whether they wanted to be rescued or not. Aqueouia means well, but her actions have only terrified the people even more.
