When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Whenever anyone stands at the edge of Hitodei's lake, he majestically rises from the depths and stares at the shore intently and silently, never moving until the object of his gaze departs. Over the course of his long life, various rumours have sprung up regarding this strange habit. Many believe that Hitodei's large, soulful eyes hide a secret, although there is no consensus on exactly what that secret is. Various theories speculate whether he is the spirit of the sea incarnate, the guardian of an underwater passage to a parallel world, or even the herald of the end of the universe (which will happen as soon as he utters his first word). Every year, humans and dragons alike travel miles to meet him, seeking answers to the infamous mystery.

The truth is known only to Hitodei himself, and he is highly unlikely to divulge it—he's just very, very stupid.
