Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Isso does not only have the appearance of a bird, but she has the chattiness of one too. A common comment about Isso is that she's pea-brained.. which is true. She has a horrible short-term memory and the need to please others. This pair of traits have caused Isso to develop an aggrevating habit of always stealing clever people's jokes and quotes, then repeating them in her stupid voice until they grow unfunny, trite and meaningless. She seems to suck the originality out of the world. She still manages to have friends though. Not surprisingly, they too are just as peabrained as Isso is.
