Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rosellia PetalDance (after the gemstone: Rose Quartz) joined the clan cave as its 103rd dragon, with much awaited anticipation! Although the clan cave suffered numerous difficulties during her upbringing, she has developed into an amazing, unique, and much loved addition to the Mystal Clan. Not only does she bring a vividly aromatic bouquet to the clan cave, her spirit and warm heart are captivating and endearing to all who meet her. The Clan Mother's favorite flowers are said to be roses, and so she is always thrilled by Rosellia's appearance. Though she roams the countryside visiting one field of flowers after another, her greatest love is tending the roses near the clan cave. One touch of her delicate wingtip to the ground, along with a humming of magical intention, and she is able to encourage new buds to form, where ever she so chooses. With her care and attention, most of the surrounding fields are now bustling with every possible variety of the fragrant flower imaginable!
