Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gazing sleepily up into the starry sky, Erthma gently lowers herself onto the rocky outcrop of her home, hidden away from all humanity in the cliffs. She settles down for a long while, seeing as stone dragons do not tend to move too much. A grumpy dragon, she seems to scare away any type of animal that comes in search of food in her cave. Yet, when she notices a baby squirrel glancing at her nervously, she does nothing. Unknown to most, Erthma has a soft spot for babies, because she craves her own family. She lets the young squirrel settle down against her, and she sighs in content, letting a smoke ring rise above her head and blow away in the breeze. Slowly she lets her heavy lids close, as she drifts off to dream about her own family, that shall never be...at least...no time soon.
