And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

Janneus is mute, which means she can't speak, and the part of her brain that she uses for telepathy never delvoloped right in her egg. Despite this, other then her silence, she's right as rain. To communicate, she uses smoke signals and Wingtail signs. Wingtail signs are something her clan made up, a dragon's equivelant to hand signals. Wingtail signs are self-explanitory, movements with the wings and tail to make words. Normally she likes physical games, like tag or leapfrog. She's capible of only one sound, a raspy hissing noise that is somewhat undescribable.
