Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rough is very simple minded: She protects what she likes and needs, she attack intruders and she never hides or steps back. Hot-headed and fierce, Rough has abnormally giant claws that can tear men in half with one strike. Always using her big size as advantage, Rough will sometimes linger outside of her lair and forcefully take things that she likes either from dragons or men. Rough is very likely one of the dragons that had collected gold more than anyone could imagine and her interest in those shiny yellow things is not dying. Rough doesn't like to fly much and she lives alone in a mountain region with very few other dragons around. She also loves to sleep and if anything dare disturb her while she does sleep, she will make sure that thing will get the lesson it 'deserved'. Anything that touches her gold will result in death or a very harsh punishment. Rough, however, is loyal. Despite the notorious saying that Brute dragons are not loyal to their mates, Rough will be loyal to hers.
