Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!

Found along the coast and in nests high above the ground, Mistra Dragons are respected for their gentle nature. They are known to adopt any abandoned eggs or hatchlings that they find and raise them as their own, singing softly to lull their young into a deep sleep. As a result of their close relationships with their families, Mistra Dragons tend to live in large, close groups. They use their large numbers to their advantage for many things, including putting on shows (of sorts) and frightening predators away from their nests.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Glistering Mockingbird of Song has been a foster father to many of the dragons we have received here at the organization. It is not uncommon to see him swamped with hatchlings of all different colors, shapes, and sizes. While every dragon is assigned a human caretaker as soon as a dragon egg comes into our possession, our staff often finds it difficult to spend every waking moment with the hatchling. The need for dragons to socialize with other dragons is also taken into consideration, and so it is common to see caretakers selecting particularly gentle and responsible dragons to babysit eggs and hatchlings. Dragons like this Mistra Dragon. He is allowed to watch over six hatchlings or eggs at a time, anything in excess spells the potential to overburden him. While he does not enjoy raising children, he does take pride in soothing them, and many dragons from his care have aspired to be as patient and understanding as he is.
