Among the most elusive of dragon breeds are the Aeon Wyverns, a breed whose innate control over time mana marks them singular and great. They are able to peer into the multi-dimensional plane of time, seeing all that is, all that has been, and all that could be—within a small localized zone. When utilizing particularly strong magic, the black markings carved into an Aeon’s body glow a bright cyan, painting them in an ethereal blue light. In the past, they have been sought after as oracles to bring swift resolutions to major conflicts, but it is in exactly such sorts of times that they are nowhere to be found; rather than influence the outcome, Aeons much prefer to allow the natural order of things to progress, however grim that may be.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Mi'al looked up. Nothing was out of the ordinary-- everyone was content, no major event was occurring. But something felt... off.

As she continued looking, she could tell why. Everyone was gone. Nobody remained. Mi'al panicked. The sun was dying. The skies are falling. She flew far, far away-- everything was ruined. She can't let that happen.

But it did. It will. Not even dragons could escape the confines of time.

Mi'al was suddenly woken up by a gaggle of hatchlings chirping around her. Seeing her wake up, they all immediately started pestering her for a story. She laughed, and drew them all close as she dove into an elaborate tale of how dragons got their wings.

While the far future was still present, at least she could indulge in the moment of happiness. Just for a while, she could ignore her fears and be happy.
