Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Galaxias is named after a song.

Galaxias is a spoiled dragon- she always expects to get what she wants, whenever she wants it. So when she doesn't, she either throws a little hissy fit, flies off and hides, or attacks the person or dragon responsible for denying her her 'happiness'. Her wings are long for her species, with the bones jutting out from the skin, like a bat's. The little green spots that dot them change sometimes with her mood- green when she's happy, or neutral, (So their green most of the time) blue-ish purple when she's sad and bright yellow or orange when she's mad. She enjoys playing games that involve flying and hiding, like dragon hide-and-go-seek tag. Galaxias is very childish for a dragon of her age. For some reason, she positively despises dragons who are not good flyers or graceful- such as Embers, Mints, Dorsals and Coastal Runners. Supposedly this is because of her vanity when it comes to her own wings and grace.
