Yellow-Crowned Dragons are found in the hottest, driest regions of the desert. Although they thrive in these conditions, they do very poorly in cold or humid climates. These dragons are very fast fliers and skilled hunters, and usually feed on small, quick desert antelope. Yellow-Crowned Dragons are diurnal, and spend the night in underground burrows they dig or steal from other creatures. They are often seen out sunning themselves in the early morning sun, waiting for the heat of the day to set in.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Mad Dog Morgan, despite his name, is actually a rather laid-back Yellow-Crowned Dragon. He is quite content out in the desert, hunting antelope and occasionally hanging out with other Yellow-Crowneds or Turpentines. There is but one irksome thing in his life, and that is the existence of a slightly younger Yellow-Crowned who calls himself Mad-Dog Morgan. Despite the fact that Mad Dog was here first, his similarly-named peer is always insisting that he, the newcomer, be honoured with being known as Mad-Dog, and Mad Dog demoted to simply "Morgan". Mad Dog, for his part, feels smugly superior about the matter, because he feels that Mad-Dog Morgan having to use a hyphen in his name gives away the fact that he is a second-rate imitation pathetically trying to make a claim on a moniker already in use. In a show of unusual pettiness, he has been known to gleefully remind Mad-Dog Morgan of the fact that it is him who is universally referred to by others as Mad Dog.
