Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, the sky has been full of very dark clouds.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. It’s learned to use its new wings quickly and you now have a hard time keeping it on the ground.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

Salutor's name means 'Caller' in Latin, a very just name for him. Salutor stays in the Andes mountains, watching for any threatening dragons who may try to bring harm to his clan. If some come, then Salutor gives a banshee's call -A yell in the tone of a banshee's scream- and his clan gets ready for a fight. Living alone in the mountains, Salutor sometimes gets very lonely, so he draws figures in the snow and plays a gambling game with a Ochredrake called Saikon. Salutor is the only one who can get close to the insane drake without being thrown around like a ragdoll. Salutor is also the only one who knows how to beat Saikon at his own game, Tarra, without cheating or on pure luck. Both rely on each other to keep from going (even more) insane, so even if Salutor lost the game, Saikon would not kill him like many other lives he already has. Salutor only goes down to his clan's camp on special nights and through the summer, and this is enough to keep him happy.
