Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has wings—but no hind legs—and it enjoys flying by the ocean.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Briny is very independent and prefers to fly around the oceans near its cave alone, but its tamer knows better; adult Blusang Lindwurms always accompany it, much to Briny's chagrin. It constantly tries to lose them over the frothy ocean waves, but the adults always manage to catch up to it. Briny is always restless and finds it unfair that it can't explore on its own, but for its own good it must be in the company of adults, mostly due to its reckless attitude.
