Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

In the darkest, deepest recesses of Clan Cave lays a red dragon, possessively guarding a gargantuan mound of treasure.  Narafina is by far the most seclusive of the clan members and one of the only dragons in Clan Cave known for brute strength rather than intelligence or personality.  She is ferocious, greedy, and ruthless, relentlessly seeking revenge against those who have wronged her.  Like the dragons of old, she obsesses in collecting gold and gems and will not leave her treasure pile unless she falls prey to hunger.  She is a berserker in battle, due to her immense size.  In offense she expels jets of scarlet flame and employs her arsenal of natural weapons to rip at her enemies.  She does not enjoy company and will aggressively fend off the other members of the clan.  She is content only when she is alone in the dark, lying on her treasure for eternity.  Her eyes glow a luminescent gold and fire burns in her nostrils constantly, setting an eerie glow to her deep red scales.
