Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn’t seem to have any color to it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This hatchling claims to be a messenger for a mysterious God, preaching the liberation of dragons everywhere.  Her name is Lily, and she is of Legend for it was foretold that such an oracle would come to be long ago.  Lily has counseled her grandfather and mother on many occasion.  When she counsels, her eyes gain white pupils and she speaks with a distant voice.  Sometimes the voice becomes deep, unlike that of her own, which is very squeaky.  Lily is wise beyond her young years, however she will never grow old for magic has left her forever youthful.
