Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
This dragon was named after the first words she heard from her owner, when she was still in the egg. The lady found herself in the middle of a very noisy and explosive New Year's Eve celebration, organised in a village near the cave, and was so scared she quickly grabbed two random eggs she didn't really want to take, before running away like crazy. She wasn't very happy with what she got though: she had developed a deep hatred towards frilled dragons, since she mindlessly gave one of them the name of a person she hated, and so decided to get rid of the egg as soon as she could.
Only Arianna's kind heart saved Sparkle's life: every time the owner decided to abandon the unwanted guest, Daydream's influence made her mind float away from the little egg, which hatched safely among its nest brothers.
Eventually the owner couldn't ignore the sweetness of the new hatchling and accepted her as a member of the clan.
