Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gif always hangs out around the halls and towers of Delirum's Academy, her naturally saturated body vibrating in resonance with the high level background magical radiation. Most of the students there watch Gif's presence with worry as the friendly dragoness has inherited her mother's tendency to be a bit scatter-brained which is a really, REALLY bad combination with high energy magics.

Well no matter how much the students and lecturers worry, no one will speak up against Gif as long as Delirium approves of her. Which apparently she does. The two dragonesses share some kind of inexplicable bond which neither Gif nor Delirium dare to even allude.
