Anagallis Dragons are a medium-sized omnivorous breed. Widespread and adaptable, their easygoing nature enables them to flourish under most conditions. They are social creatures, fun-loving and outgoing, and will readily defend smaller dragons from others’ aggression. They are fond of sunshine, and can often be found basking on rocks; on cloudy or stormy days they are more reluctant to venture out, and will often hide themselves away until the weather is more favorable.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Goldclaw, like her mother, is exceedingly wise and, like her father, likes to communicate with other dragons. In order to combine her qualities, Goldclaw started a little 'business' answering people's questions. She can solve mysteries that seem to have no answer, complete puzzles that seem impossible, and show a whole new side to every topic. She figured out Jadeclaw's identity in a few minutes, solved almost all of Flasheye's mysteries in around a day per mystery, and can even befuddle her owner. It's unknown whether she could answer Crimsonstone's questions of reality because Crimsonstone hasn't asked Goldclaw yet.

Flasheye has tried to get her to join his band of 'detectives' on multiple occasions, but she's always refused. She says she's a friendly service to the other dragons on the island, not an idiotic fighter who doesn't know a ding-dong thing about even the simplest mysteries.

She's nice to other dragons. It's just Flasheye that ticks her off.
