Sabertooth Bull Drakes are brutish creatures named for their large tusks, sharp spines, and aggressive natures. Despite their small size, these drakes are not to be underestimated or trifled with as their bodies are primed for close combat. Even their wings, seemingly their most fragile limbs, contain sharp struts used to impale dragons that challenge them. Despite all this, these drakes live in close knit groups and display great affection and loyalty among themselves. This bond can be easily shared with humans if raised from eggs or bribed with mushrooms, their favorite treat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Kihakuno's favorite mushrooms tend to grow high up on trees, so she's constantly scrabbling up tree trunks and branches to gnaw at the tasty fungus treats. Since her wings are not well-suited for maneuvering in small spaces, Kiha has needed to rely on her tusks and spines to keep her balanced and supported while she is climbing. Several times, she has actually gotten stuck in trees when her spines become wedged in the bark and she cannot pull herself free. Fortunately, at least one of her family members is usually within earshot, and they are happy to rush over to assist (so long as Kiha shares some of her mushroom bounty).
