It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Princess Ovipot Thuwed is a dragon of many interests and passions. Yet perhaps the most interesting of her interests and passionate of her passions is her love of honey. Indeed, she incessantly craves the rich, flowing nectar produced by the bees that she lovingly nurtures and tends to. When she first arrived at her clan, she brought with her nothing but her royal title, a handful of foreign currency, and a single colony of honey bees. Although many dragons were suspicious of her mysterious origin and motives, as well as her hundreds of insect companions, the purple dragons of her clan nonetheless took her in. This proved to be a wise move, as the Princess is an adept beekeeper—and with the help of some entrepreneurial friends, she has grown her original colony into a prosperous honey farm, bringing in an incredible amount of money. Yet despite her immense wealth, more than anything the Princess still loves her bees, her fellow purple dragons, and of course, her fresh golden honey.
