Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Shay is a 9th generation descendant of the famous Midas Dorkface and Shallyna'ar. She is also a Thuwed descendant, from many in fact one of the more well known being Tu0thoum Thuwed. Both her parents are from the line and she has a long rich lineage and is proud to be of such famous lines. Shay is a sweet natured dragon and her best friend is her hatch-mate, a day glory drake named Arysticalinor. They hatched and grew up together and are very close.
