Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a large, shield-like object at the end of its tail that it uses for protection.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

The hatchlings of this cave are safe, because if any animal or person tries to get too close, they will feel something hitting them like an Iron Fist! It's actually nothing more than a Guardian hatchling, and a very small one at that, who doesn't even have wings. But it can climb a tree and sit there, hidden among the leaves, and then drop shield first onto any intruder, knocking them down. The shield on its tail protects it from the impact, and even if the enemy is still standing after the blow, it doesn't have to worry. No one would be mad enough to attack a Guardian hatchling, because there is always an adult Guardian lurking nearby.
