Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Along with his mate, Cinciri Naast Wippet, Gebiin Skirata would act as a messenger for the hundreds of dragons in The Master's Clan, carrying messages between dragons using his fleetness of foot to ferry him quickly from place to place. This duty, which he and his mate decided to take on mutually (as a gift for The Master for raising them when no one else wanted them), would be a powerful boon to the clan, as it would help all the dragons stay in touch and create powerful family bonds, despite the vast and growing size of the Clan.
