Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Oskil hates being near other Hellfire Wyverns and prefers the company of kinder, gentler dragons. Maeyella, an old Red dragon, was more than happy to act as a surrogate mother to the baby wyvern. It seems happy now that it doesn't have to interact with the angry males of its species. Oskil can hunt mice and voles, but it often needs help with the killing blow.
