Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It must be very shy since it keeps hiding from you.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Chip is very shy and reserved; it will usually only interact with other Mint dragons and seems to be terrified of its tamer. Its tamer does try, but she has deemed it best that the other Mints look after it, and if there is a serious concern, she will get involved. Chip's favorite activity is digging, and it will often find little shiny rocks that it likes to keep in a pile. It prefers any green gemstones.
