Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. This dragon's name is a misnomer, as he hates the color plum.

The fruit is unacceptable too, he thinks it's really dumb.

With a discerning eye for color, he says he's aubergine,

And while others may call them orange, he adores his wings of tangerine.

And things with which it rhymes, like a set of pleasant chimes.

Some naysayers call for a guillotine, to be rid of an annoyance that is elephantine.

Their owner hates this mean routine, and thinks his quirk is really keen.

A very lovely Almandine, his mate can play the tambourine!

Located in a deep ravine, his lair is always kept pristine.

Conscious of his neat hygiene, he can't stand cleaning the latrine.
