Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Frost is the perfect example of a well-behaved, impressive hatchling with a knack for singing Christmas songs. The only problem: her intellect.

She will often scream and run around in circles, claiming that a gigantic monster is outside, and when the other adults go and check, it's a bug. She will fall in the icy water of the Republicator Territory and sit in it, asking "Who threw this pond on me" for five minutes. When she comes across the other not-so-bright dragon, Flaym, Frost will often cry "Why are you so curly and floofy" in all seriousness.

Plo Kooky, her mentor, has tried so many ways, so many times, to get inside of her head and understand her, but nothing works. She just doesn't have a brain. Most blame the resident Vampire dragon, Drayym, but she says that she only drinks blood, not brains.

Oblivious to all of the teachings of Plo Kooky, Frost will constantly frolic just for the heck of it, ignoring everything her Master is saying. She just doesn't get it.
