Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lady Bling, by Dhatri out of Aricura, is the youngest of Hilltop's Gold dragons.  She is named after Bling, the first Gold dragon to appear in her lineage.  Lady Bling is a playful and spirited dragon, much like her grandfather Dyeus.  She spends most of her time frolicking with the adopted hatchlings and generally being very silly.  Her favorite pastime however, is the water!  Not only does she enjoy admiring her shiny reflection, she loves to play and splash in the shallows with the aquatic dragons at Hilltop's.  She can't go in too far though, or her heavy gold scales will cause her to sink like a stone!
