Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Aider, a helpful red dragon, was given her name because of her tendency to assist other creatures. As soon as she was hatched she was helping, from preventing an ant from being squished to untangling her siblings' horns. As she got older her help became more needed, like preventing war by acting as a go-between or rescuing stranded mints in trees. She even rescued a baby chipmunk from drowning, though the next time she saw it she ate it. Many dragons have taken advantage of Aider, asking her for help and then sitting back when she does all the work. But as soon as Aider realizes she is being used, she refuses to help that dragon ever again.
