Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

This dragon, though it may not be alive, is able to tell jokes. Some jokes are fairly good; a lot are bad. People even find some of them, well, cheesy. When people laugh at his "cheesy" jokes, it gives Rintack a sense of peace knowing that he is enjoyed and well loved.
