Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has shiny fish-like scales and loves water.
And look! It has gotten bigger! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
Energetic and competitive (not to mention slightly narcissistic), this young male loves few things more than arranging tournaments. He invites human and dragon children alike from across the land to compete in games of a massive scale, arranging bouts of tag, hide and seek, jousting, and more that are legendary in their proportions. Dividing the teams up into those who are golden hued versus everyone else (a rather uneven split of the teams, number-wise, but he knows that anyone who wears his color must be brilliant and talented enough to overcome the peasant masses), the players compete in a friendly and frenetic tournament in which the winners take home pots of gems, courtesy of his mother's treasure hoard. Almost inevitably the gold team loses, overwhelmed by sheer numbers, which prompts him to throw fits and claim cheating was involved. His immaturity is tolerated, however, both because the games are fun and because the "transgressions" against him are forgotten by tomorrow.
