Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"I'm so old," She thought, as she rolled over, in an attempt to get more comfortable.

Raikou was Pika's first dragon hatched, ahead of three other eggs. Back when... Everything was great. The amount of dragons in the cave was still small, and it seemed so lonely at times. Raikou thought Pika loved her. After all, they were alike.

At least she thought this until Halloween night.

Pika tried to kill her. She had killed two other dragons in an attempt of getting a dragon zombie. They disintegrated into nothing after the spell failed. Raikou dodged the blade. After that, Pika never killed another dragon, yet Raikou was wary of her.

"You shouldn't worry. I won't kill another dragon," Pika had said.

"I won't take my chances!" Raikou spat back.

Alternattiva was born the next month. She was a Black Alt, and Pika's first hatched Black dragon. Pika loved her instantly.

"She was always loved. I'm just alone in the corner." Raikou thought bitterly.
