Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

With his mature demeanor and intimidating gaze, Blykx sends everyone stumbling away with his presence. Being one of the most respected members of the Fraythos family bloodline comes with its perks, that's for sure. Yet he always spends his time atop his many hoards alone when he could be getting anything he wanted with purely a glance. On the outside, he seems confident, reserved, poised, and arrogant. On the inside, he's warm and caring, though he'd never show that side of him in public.

The only one who's melted that frosty heart of his is Zaelii, a Skywing Dragon from the coast of a nearby island, and Pholex, a cheerful Sunsong Amphiptere. They've grown up together as caveborns and have progressed the remainder of their lives as lovers.

Blykx typically eats fresh fish and shrimp, occasionally small dragons and pygmies. He loves flying around the volcano he lives by and spending his free time collecting amethysts, onyx, and sapphires.
