Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very aggressive, and has brilliant turquoise markings all over its body.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Sandkasten can't understand her elders' obsession with glass and making sculptures out of it. In her mind sand is a far better medium to express herself: it's flexible and variable and can be not only used to build castles and moats, but those can easily be destroyed without getting shards buried in your paws. And after all what are sculptures good for if you can't destroy them in a fun romp anyway—nothing.
