Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Cheeson's Greetings (rhymes with season's) did not end up being the cheese dragon that Lagie had hoped to find over the holidays. The paper dragon egg made its way to Lagie's cave and settled in comfortably, looking askance at any attempts to trade it for a cheese dragon egg.
