Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Starcall's full name is 'Starcall yeux mouilles IFNT King Moderne-Emotif'. He is the leader of the IFNT pact, and a 'Moderne-Emotif', a title given by Airee to honor his cultural influx.

Starcall is not born as a member of the Kriss tribe, and no one knows of his origins. He was a wanderer with artistic qualities much like Rainwize. He was on bad terms with Rainwize at first (as rivals), but after befriending Rainwize, Starcall joined the Kriss tribe. This friendship was the conception the IFNT, the group of seven pondering, intellectual young male dragons. As the leader of the IFNT, he always acts responsible and polite, taking care of his pact.

It seems that Starcall has faced much hardships before joining the Kriss tribe. He speaks very little of his past. However, it seems that his past reflects in his musical hums—making sad yet beautiful tones that bring tears to the listener's eyes. He can be most commonly seen flying quietly, singing alone or with Rainwize in duets of sincere and sad songs.
