Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has two heads. You expected it to have some color, though.

And look! It has grown wings and changed color! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Murasaki to aka is a young Duotone Dragon and is still in the process of finding out more about herself. Her two heads do not always get along, bickering as siblings do, but they can get along if they try. Recently, they have been practicing their coordination in flying, but sadly this usually ends up in a crash landing. So far, the easiest thing that she has found that her two heads agree on is what to eat: meat, and lots of it. This is why they have been flying a good deal, trying to become a better aerial hunter.

Her name means 'Purple and red'.
