Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Oma Bluestreak is a credit to her kind. Fast feet, quick wit, Oma isn't one to slow down. Her Keeper regularly takes her on hunting trips around the forests near the village, where all abundance of rabbits, squirrels, weasels and foxes fall to her speed. She wasn't lonely, well, not often.

But one summer's day, Oma was running alone. She startled a rabbit from the bushes, and raced it toward its warren. As she drew near, she saw men, logging. One tree fell towards them. Oma raced through under it, but the rabbit was crushed, along with its warren. Saddened by their carelessness, Oma turned back. That's when she heard him. A tiny rabbit babe, the only survivor. Oma scooped him up onto her back and ran, back through the woods. Outside her Keeper's den, she stopped and hid the rabbit. Every day, she'd bring the tiny babe food. She would creep out at night to sleep next to him.

A year later, the rabbit returned with another. Oma awoke to the small cries of babes. She had a family!
