Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Despite being an enchanted object instead of real like his other dragon comrades, Chisi
doesn't seem to mind. Though he lacks the ability to breathe fire and can fly a little and a bit less gracefully, he is a fun loving and cheerful Cheese Dragon. He can always be seen with the Paper Dragon Paperi since they feel some kinship with each other.
