Serrati Wyverns are a fierce breed of dragon typically found in volcanic areas or in desert scrubland. With their keen vision, these fearsome predators can pick out well-camouflauged prey from the slightest movement. They are named for the double rows of serrated teeth that line their beaks, which allow these wyverns to maintain an unbreakable grip on prey while they tear into their target with deadly hooked claws. Though these dragons are combative with nearly everything, they are surprisingly well-mannered when raising their offspring in communal nests. Males, however, tend to be chased off as soon as eggs are laid.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Prickle Talon is a clever, witty, and brave dragon. She'll attack any foe that stands in her way, whether it be a great dragon or a tiny pygmy. When Hippo Splash put thorns in her nest, she put them into Hippo Splash's own nest. When a gigantic snake tried to eat the eggs, it became Prickle Talon's dinner! When Scarlet-Warrior challenged her... she gave it her best... even though she lost. That didn't stop her from demanding a rematch. She won the second time, but from time to time, Scarlet-Warrior and Prickle Talon could be seen fighting with each other, with scales and fur flying!
