Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts summer weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

Behold, seeker of the dragon lore, Pluit pluit of the Summer Dragons. As her name suggests, she hatched during a very rainy period of the summer and it is quite likely the reason why she never grew to be an adult. Nonetheless, she shines in the most summery colours: scales as green as the leaves of the apple tree and as yellow as the blossoms of the pumpkin plant clad her body and wings, and the scent of strawberries emanates from her. Her voice is that of the crickets chirping in the high grass. Although she is small, she seems perfectly able to care for herself, gathering berries and even digging for roots.
