Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aranazo is an idiot. That's the first thing you're going to notice about him. He's just as bullheaded as Vidrio with all the intellect of half of a Stone dragon's tail. However, Aranazo is the largest of the Numeratis vampires, and this does have its benefits. He sticks close to Amor Morder and acts as her and Empire's henchman, though he primarily works for Morder. He enjoys smashing things and often purposefully kills eggs rather than turning them, giving him one of the worst reputations of the Numeratis, second only to Empire and Acosar. While he may be lacking in the intelligence department, Aranzo does have a certain level of cunning that most don't expect from such a brute, often giving him the upper hand in various situations.

He is generally despised by the horde, and most, if not all, would not care a whit if he disappeared and was never heard from again.
