Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon seems to believe his tail shield is imbued with incredible powers of electricity. In fact, he often likes to talk about his daring adventures and brave rescues using his special shield. He has even come up with a name for the star of all his adventures: his "taser shield", as he calls it. Although he has never been able to reproduce such amazing feats and displays in front of other dragons, he still stubbornly insists that his shield is, indeed, electrified. The few dragons who don't simply scoff in the face of his ridiculous claims will often ask him who or what exactly gave him this power. In reply, this dragon always mentions the "Great Almighty Lord of Thunder", a mysterious deity that apparently granted him his magnificent electrocution powers. At this point most dragons laugh uncontrollably and leave, since the "Great Almighty Lord of Thunder" isn't actually an immortal being, but rather an inside joke among the clan that some, like this dragon, take rather seriously.
