Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

There are too many pink dragons around here. Like, look! Here's yet another! This one is Wyrdar, the "brother" of Frenril, another male Flamingo Wyvern. Frenril, after being snatched from his nest, had wandered all over the world looking for someone he recognized. Until he had found this cave, he'd been traveling from burrow, to den, to cave, living off of only less then 30 minutes of sleep a night and scraps of meat he'd found on the way. No, compared to the life he had been living, Wyrdar enjoys a luxurious life of whole deer, a warm, lit cave, and his brother. He's quite happy here in his home. He's a well seasoned warrior too and very valuable to the cave because he knows the pressure points of certain breeds of dragons. Wyrdar will jab them with his tail at the pressure points and then go in for the kill. He doesn't like it, but he knows it's necessary. Besides, it's not like he's up for being homeless again...
