Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Comes' name means "Earl of All" in Latin, as he is a member of the royal family, and, though his descendants Rex and Regina (King and Queen) are far back from his generation, he is still very respected. He met Secundo Comitissa Omnes (Second Countess of All) when he was just a hatchling. She was in the desert, as he liked to visit often when the other dragons weren't watching. They grew up together and he eventually persuaded her to join him in his cave. They have had two kids, but the first one was misplaced as an egg and is now wild. The second one is in egg form still.
