Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dawn D'Amour is a filial dragon and ever since he found out he was named after his great great grandmother Dawn of Love, he tried to venture out of Phantom Valley to at least pay his respects to his elders.  Unfortunately, Dawn D'Amour is a rather willowy and pretty dragon despite his gender and can't fly very far outside the valley.  Some of the other male dragons in the valley used to tease and bully the tinsel.  One time, they shoved him right into LeVie St. Valentine.  LeVie saved him from the bullies and to this day he swears she did something to them because they never bothered him again.  As repayment, she forced him to take her out for fancy dinners (though she insisted on paying for both of them) and random walks around town.  Now, he wouldn't spend his free time any other way.
