Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very aggressive, and has brilliant turquoise markings all over its body.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

If there was a Pity-Party fanclub, this dragon would be its president. Found abandoned as a hatchling, the clan took him in and gave him a home. The hatchling told them of his sad story of how his mother left him to die after a human touched his egg. He was then found by humans who laughed and made fun of him. The clan did their best to nurse him back to health and do what they could to help him recover. A phrase that constantly kept popping up was, "Oh, you poor thing!" The hatchling kept milking the attention until the phrase turned into his name, given to him by the dragons who had become annoyed by his sob story as he told it over and over. They still care for him as they would any clan member, but his tale has become more annoying than anything else. Especially when he keeps adding to it. The most recent addition to his story was that he was attacked by Zombie dragons and had to fight them off while outrunning a pack of vampires.
