Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Like most Valentine Dragons, Juliet is a hopeless romantic. Since she was little she had always dreamed of the perfect mate, the lovely family they would raise, the cavern and treasure hoard they would build. Sadly, right before she reached maturity, Juliet was involved in an accident. One day hunters found her in the woods and fired at her. Juliet fled and the wound didn't kill her, but it did pierce her vocal chords and deprive her of the ability to speak. When her first mating season came around, Juliet was still seriously injured and didn't have to strength to participate. When she was healthy again in the following year she was eager to finally have her chance at her dream, however, by the end of the season she found herself unpicked and horribly lonely. Being unable to speak she appeared to be an unsuited mate, unable to express her affections or properly look after hatchlings. Every year Juliet still tries to take part in the season, but each year her hope dwindles more and more.
