Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rahus doesn't think his name makes sense, and that's why he likes it. Most other dragons think Rahus hit himself on the head with his pebbles too many times as a hatchling (Rahus himself thinks this was great fun and sometimes still does it, with considerably bigger pebbles). He is an enigma, a dragon that is thought to be crazy, but isn't really a threat. He is kept around for this reason and the fact he is walking entertainment to those sadistic hatchlings that pop up in every clutch.
